In Joshua chapter 1, Joshua is called to lead God's people into the promised land that God has for them. As God is calling Joshua, He repeatedly says to be Strong and Courageous.

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” - Joshua 1:9

Our mission here at Joshua1 is to help equip believers to be Strong and Courageous in their faith. In Matthew 5:14-16 Jesus calls us to be a light to the world around us.

“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." - Matthew 5:14-16

We are calling all believers to not hide your faith. Rather, step into the world with courage knowing that the God who created you is with you wherever you go.

Every time you put on a Joshua1 piece of clothing, you are proclaiming the Good News of Jesus to the world. You are shining the way Jesus calls you to. So be Strong and Courageous and do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
